EMBRACING A NEW ERA OF EDUCATION

We offer a micro-schooling experience for families seeking a consistent classroom environment, certified educators, and a peer community to support homeschooling and worldschooling lifestyles.

CASCO’s approach is rooted in Montessori and self-directed learning practices and incorporates a multi-age classroom, learning materials, and a globally-minded curriculum to guide learners through the Elementary & Adolescent years.

Our custom competency-based model cultivates whole-child development and academic excellence in learners, fostering intellectual engagement, curiosity, and growth. Graduates gain a genuine enthusiasm for learning, a willingness to explore new ideas, and a continuous pursuit of knowledge.

highlights OF A COLLABORATIVE LEARNING CLASSROOM

  • Learners are empowered to take ownership of decisions surrounding their education. Our environment is designed to foster autonomy, mastery, and purpose. Education becomes an experience as learners manage their work through learning portfolios, weekly conferences, and collaborative learning teams with their peers.

  • Mixed-age groups allow children to enjoy their accomplishments rather than compare themselves to others. Children learn to respect others while learning to respect their own individuality. The interaction of children of different ages encourages positive social interaction and collaborative learning.

  • Through our reflective practices, learners acquire an intrinsic appreciation for their education. They are encouraged to pursue opportunities to learn in all parts of their life, not simply in the situations in which it is required. The result? An incomparable sense of self-awareness that only builds in complexity as children get older.

  • Immersion in a bilingual learning environment provides children invaluable cognitive benefits during an impressionable age. It offers a unique perspective on cultures other than their own and encourages them to become global citizens. The immersion that forms part of our model mimics natural acquisition and facilitates practicality.

  • Following the Planes of Development and the genius of Dr. Maria Montessori’s scientific observations, we support the child’s natural curiosity, creativity, and love for learning. Each child is empowered to embark on their lifelong quest for knowledge. Movement and play are incorporated daily.

  • Having several individuals to facilitate a classroom community allows students to connect with different personalities. Our co-planning process enables educators to bounce ideas off each other to deliver the most effective, personalized, and creative lessons.
