Going-Outs & Field Trips
The learner “going out” is a way to explore beyond the classroom. Going out encourages learners to learn more about a topic of interest in a small group and helps them create a connection with their individual studies. In contrast with a traditional field trip, where the activity is planned for an entire class, a going-out is prepared by the learners themselves in connection with their unique class lessons and studies.
