Campus Life at CASCO
A learner-centered environment where education extends beyond the classroom.
Our St. Louis campus serves as the hub for CASCO’s hybrid micro-school — a place where learners explore with purpose, families find flexibility, and education connects seamlessly with home and community life.
CASCO Learning offers:
Drop-off programs for Pre-K through 8th grade
An online campus and virtual community connecting learners through courses, meet-ups, and shared resources
Family and group travel experiences — from local adventures to international journeys
Learning Beyond the Classroom
At CASCO, our campus is where exploration begins. Learners flow between studio projects, neighborhood adventures, and home-based study — discovering how ideas connect to everyday life. Each child’s rhythm is unique, yet all share the same spirit of curiosity and discovery.
Why CASCO Works for Hybrid Families
Place-Based Learning
Our city becomes part of the curriculum — parks, gardens, and local landmarks turn into living classrooms.
Self-Directed Exploration
Learners take ownership of their work, guided by educators who know when to step in and when to step back.
Community Connections
Families, educators, and neighbors work together to build a culture of curiosity, creativity, and care.

what makes OUR MICRO SCHOOL unique?
-
Through our reflective practices, learners acquire an intrinsic appreciation for their education. Children are encouraged to pursue opportunities to learn in all parts of their life, not simply in the situations in which it is required. The result? An incomparable sense of self-awareness that only builds in complexity as children get older.
-
Our approach to education is centered around learner agency and competency based learning. Learners are empowered to take ownership of decisions surrounding their education, resulting in a greater sense of autonomy, mastery, and purpose. Our environment is designed to foster this agency through learning portfolios, weekly conferences, and collaborative learning teams with their peers.
-
Following the Planes of Development and the genius of Dr. Maria Montessori’s scientific observations, we support the child’s natural curiosity, creativity, and love for learning. Each child is empowered to embark on their lifelong quest for knowledge. Movement and play are incorporated daily.
-
Mixed-age groups allow children to enjoy their accomplishments rather than compare themselves to others. Children learn to respect others while learning to respect their own individuality. The interaction of children of different ages encourages positive social interaction and collaborative learning.
